# How would you implement API tests in Python?

I would typically use `pytest` as the test runner and a library such as `requests` or `httpx` for HTTP communication. I would separate API client functionality from test assertions, use fixtures for authentication and test data, and **validate status codes, response payloads, headers and business rules**.
