# What is Pytest?

Pytest is a lightweight and powerful Python testing framework that allows us to write, organize, and execute automated tests. 

It provides features such as fixtures, parametrization, assertions, markers, and plugins, which make it suitable for unit, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
